Antique Chinese Inside-Painted Rock Crystal Snuff Bottle Scholars Hand-Hollowed For Sale

For sale is a really special Chinese inside-handpainted snuff bottle, meticulously carved from genuine natural rock crystal (quartz). The frosted body features an intricately detailed, hand-painted vignette of three traditional Chinese scholars and figures dressed in flowing robes traversing an ink-and-wash mountain landscape and winter trees. The art form involved was unique and painstaking. The bottle was hand-carved from a rock crystal and hollowed out. The scene painted is entirely executed in reverse through the neck of the bottle. The bottle is the canvas and it flows uninterrupted around it.The top is made of fine quality jade. There is a cork and bamboo spoon. (ask for photos—the bot thinks it’ “drug paraphernalia” so I don't post the spoon). This bottle was likely created around the early to mid 1900’s. There are no marks or seals.Excellent vintage condition. The crystal body is entirely free of chips, cracks, or scratches. The interior painting remains vibrant, crisp, and completely intact with no signs of water fading or moisture damage. Please review the high-resolution photos to inspect the interior neck textures and fine line brushwork details.
