Antique CF Heat Ring #8 Cast Skillet Pan Griswold Vtg For Sale

Presented for your consideration is this rare Antique skillet. Marked CF and features a heat ring. Im having trouble finding out who the manufacturer is.

Im selling this skillet for restoration. It does exhibit some surface rusting, etc. it needs cleaned up. I see what appears to be a crack in the bottom but I’m not sure exactly what it is. It doesn’t seem like a crack as it doesn’t appear to go all the way through. It may have been repaired or maybe it’s just from the manufacturing process back in the 1800’s.
