Antique Buff & Buff Survey Transit and box Model 31400 For Sale

The transit has the original box, but not the tripod. I understand they were sold as a set. My grandfather started a construction company in South Florida in 1956, and he had this survey transit the entire time. There is no crack glass. The the compass is clearly visible. The site tube still has the crosshairs in it and can be focused. All the brass knobs function and has a patina. This particular model has a crackled black finish, contrasting the brass knobs.
