For serious Collectors, from private collection.A late‑19th‑century Bohemian decorative liqueur bottle (c. 1885–1905), crafted in the Haida / Nový Bor / Harrachov glassmaking region.Mold‑blown clear glass with natural iron‑oxide tinting, giving the bottle a warm brownish tone under indoor light and a clear, colorless appearance in daylight.
Decorated with raised fired‑gold appliqué — a luxury technique where gold flux is applied in relief and kiln‑fused to the surface.The gold shifts dramatically with lighting, appearing strong and metallic indoors and nearly disappearing in daylight,a hallmark of authentic 19th‑century Bohemian goldwork.
Features a hand‑gathered flame‑form stopper with seed bubbles and a small retention lip designed for a thin cork sleeve (now missing), typical of liqueur and cordial bottles of the era. The stopper is original to the bottle.
Condition:No cracks or chips. Gold decoration intact with expected age‑appropriate variation. Stopper sits slightly loose due to the missing cork sleeve (common for pieces of this age). Displays beautifully.
