William Blaikie (1822-1910) was a Scottish Immigrant and became a well known druggist in Utica, NY. He was an and his barn served as a stop on the underground railroad for fugitive enslaved people escaping to Canada. He was also the President of the Society for the Preservation of Cruelty to Children and President for the Local Society for the Preservation of Cruelty to Animals. He sounds like he was a truly decent human. This is a great opportunity to own a piece of history. I have other bottles from his pharmacy on offer that I\'d be happy to combine shipping on.
