Antique 27 Victorian Religious Scripture Motto Cards as Framed Collage Biblical For Sale

Fabulous framed collection of Victorian style ephemera, lot of 27 original antique small cards with Holy Bible verses and religious mottos. The antique cards range in approximate size from 1.5” x 1” to 2.75” x 3.75”. Please zoom to read the numerous Bible verses and view the lovely illustrations. Overall frame size is 13.75” x 11.75” x 1”.Please see all photos as part of the description. These are nicely displayed on a beige fabric backing, ribbon trim border (likely glued), pink fabric outer edge, behind glass within a gold wooden frame. Cards appear to be glued so cannot assess the condition of the back. The front of cards appear in good antique condition, no major tears or bends except one (“Thou art a God ready to pardon”); most have vibrant colors. The largest, in center, isanEaster card “Christ is Risen” and has handwritten “1876”. Frame has gold paint loss, darkening, and crazing as shown in pictures. Frame backing is vintage cardstock loosely held in place by newer framing points.From a smoke free and no pet home.
