For your consideration is a beautiful, authentic 19th-century Neo-Gothic ecclesiastical reliquary shrine, styled as a miniature chapel or cathedral. This stunning piece features intricate Gothic tracery, a steep brick-patterned roof, decorative pinnacles, and a cast metal figure of a praying saint housed inside an architectural niche below the central cross finial.
The shrine rests securely on a ornate four-footed base with detailed metalwork running along the rim. It retains its delicate architectural structure beautifully, showcasing a wonderful, deep-aged golden brass patina with natural oxidation in the recesses.
Crucially, the protective glass display panels are completely intact and undamaged, which is exceptionally rare for chapel-style reliquaries of this age.
