Up for your consideration is an old antique cast iron savings / coin bank, it is marked Kenton 1911.
The Kenton Hardware Company, based in Kenton, Ohio, was a major early 20th-century producer of cast-iron toys and still banks, founded in 1890 as a lock manufacturer.
It is in very good used condition for the age although it is missing the handle and the door has a crack. Someone repaired it with epoxy or silicone. But some one could possible Braz or weld it together
There is light wear, mars, marks scratches and color loss.
The bank is locked and has a combination to open it.
Rarely do I find one of these little banks in such good condition.
This bank came from an estate sale.
