Up for sale is one antique 1901, sterling silver, framed,Junior Order United American Mechanics medal or badge. The medal is not signed but the back of the frame does have information as to who it was presented to and the date of presentation. Research shows that this item is made of sterling silver but we did not open the frame to verify the markings. The wood frame is in fair condition with some nicks and scratches and looks to have a black felt backing. This medal measures approximately 4.5\" tall by 1.5\" wide and is in a 6\" x 8\" silver/gold colored wood frame. The back side reads Presented to Charles Hoefflin by Brothers of the Old Glory Council #20 Jr. O.U.A.M. July 2, 1901.
