Antique 18th Century Spanish Caravaca Reliquary Cross
Up for sale is a genuine 18th-century Spanish Caravaca devotional reliquary cross, heavy-cast in solid bronze/brass alloy. Features rich high-relief iconography with Christ on the front, the Virgin Mary with "CARAVACA" on the reverse, and two standing angels on the lower crossbar. Built with an authentic two-piece hinged design made to hold a small sacred relic inside.

Condition:
Authentic aged patina throughout. The top hinge/bale attachment shows historic wear: one side of the metal collar around the pin has a small piece missing, and the reverse side has a stress hairline.
