Up for sale is an authentic, antique 1896 Knights of the Maccabees (K.O.T.M.) celluloid pinback button.This rare 19th-century premium features the classic K.O.T.M. tent emblem on the front with bright, crisp graphics and text. Most importantly, it retains its original, highly collectible paper back advertising American Pepsin Gum Co., manufactured by the legendary Whitehead & Hoag Co. of Newark, New Jersey. The paper insert features the original patent dates from 1894 and 1896.Condition Details:Front: Excellent vintage condition. The celluloid is smooth, clean, and exhibits bold, vibrant colors with very sharp text.Back: The original paper advertisement is intact, highly legible, and complete.
