Antique 1890-1900s Hobbs Style? Secure Lock Box Safety Deposit Ben A. Goldsmith For Sale

For sale is a antique metal lock box, cash box, safe, strong box, etc. Owned by Ben A. Goldsmith, written on tag. Possibly a Hobbs or Hobbs style box? I don't know. Comes with a working key also. It does lock and unlock. It looks to be from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. Has all the normal wear and tear, scratches, scrapes, chips, rust, age, etc. It looks to be missing the top handle and the part that holds it down. In the baggie is the brass nut for the missing handle part and the original screw for the locking mechanism. When I found it, it was stuffed with stock certificates, around 50 of them, dating from 1901-1930. The name on the stocks is Ben A. Goldsmith. Same name that is written on the tags of the lock box. I have not listed the stock certificates yet but can include them with a price adjustment, let me know. Please see all photos for a more accurate description and ask any questions before offerding.
