Antique 1877 Thy Kingdom Come 100 Days Indulgence Catholic Religious Shadow Box For Sale

This Victorian age shadowbox depicts the crucifixion of Christ displayed with all of the instruments of the passion. Prayer and meditation on this piece allowed a 100 day exemption from one's stay in Purgatory so allows indulgences. 1877 is the date of its creation. It is in its original frame and contains dried flowers within. Could do with a good cleaning as age has left its dust. The frame could be repainted as some of the original wood has flaked somewhat. Impressive as it is a little restorative gold paint could make this really pop or leave it as it is in it's aged patina. Great for religious collectors or those who appreciate gothic decor.
