Antique 1870\'s Udolpho Wolfe Schiedam Aromatic Schnapps Olive Green Bottle For Sale

This authentic beautifully preserved 1870\'s Udolpho Wolfe\'s Schiedam Aromatic Schnapps bottle is an iconic square case-gin style bottle with steep beveled corners that measures approximately 9 1/2\" tall. The side panels are embossed \"Udolpho Wolfe\'s/Aromatic Schnapps/Schiedams\" on three sides and the forth panel is blank, originally meant to hold the paper distributor label. The neck features a crude, hand applied collared lip showing great glass shear tool marks. The bottom shows a deep, smooth circular mold push-up base. The bottle is in exceptional mint condition with excellent original surface glass and clarity. There are no cracks, chips, dings, flea bites or bruises and the inner and outer rim of the applied mouth are pristine. The glass is clean with no cloudiness, staining or \"glass sickness\".
