Ant. WESTERWALD Salt-Glazed Stoneware 2-Handled Crock Pot; VGC; Mid-Late 1800\'s For Sale

      We are in the home stretch of the liquidation of my MIL\'s estate. I will do my very best to describe each item I list. But please realize that these items did not belong to me and I have very limited knowledge concerning them. Look at the photos and PLEASE ask questions.  

   This Westerwald Salt-Glazed Crock Pot is in search of a new home. It is unmarked so the following info is mostly from online research. Because of the \'flow blue\'-type ink used and the lack of a \'country of origin\' marking (mandated by a U.S. Tariff law in 1891), this pot appears to be from the mid to late 19th century. No cracks or chips anywhere. It\'s most notable blemishes are a glaze poc-mark shown in photos 4 & 5, with another small poc-mark on the inner wall, ... shown in the last photo.. It stands 4.5 in. tall, is 8 in. from handle end to handle end, has a 5.5 in. diameter base and weighs 2.7 pounds. It holds 1.25 liters. Thanks for looking ....
