A mantel clock in a Delft-style blue and white glazed ceramic case: a shell crest, scrolled feet, blue flower sprays, and a hand-painted panel of sailing boats below the dial. Gilt bezel with beveled glass and a cream dial with Arabic numerals and an open gilt centre.
Measurements: 11 in high x 7 1/2 in wide x 4 7/8 in deep. 5.6 lb.
Marks: the dial reads Manufactured by The Ansonia Clock Company, New-York, United States of America (see photos). The case carries no maker\'s mark, so none is claimed.
Condition - please read: pre-owned and not tested; no key or pendulum is shown. The case has crazing throughout, glaze wear and chips on the feet, a crack on one foot and staining on the underside. Please see all photos.
