THE LEGEND OF THE RED DRAGON
The Ancora RED Dragon celebrates Italian craftsmanship through one of the world’s most enduring mythical symbols.
Across Eastern traditions, the dragon represents wisdom, prosperity, protection and imperial power. Ancora interprets this symbolism through an elaborate sculptural design in deep blacklacquer and polished gold-plated metal.
Created in an edition of only 88 individually numbered fountain pens, the RED Dragon combines functional writing performance with the commanding presence of a collector’s object.
SCULPTED IN THREE DIMENSIONS
An intricately formed dragon coils around the cap, creating a dramatic three-dimensional composition.
The sculptural work captures the creature’s scales, claws and expressive features in remarkable detail. Its polished gold-plated finish catches the light across every raised surface, revealing the complexity of the design from different angles.
Ruby-inspired red eyes provide a vivid focal point, bringing energy and character to the mythical figure.
RED LACQUER
The barrel is finished in a brilliant deep RED lacquer associated with vitality, prosperity and celebration.
Traditional cloud motifs complement the sculpted dragon and reinforce the pen’s Eastern-inspired visual language. The contrast between red lacquer and polished gold-plated components creates a bold, distinguished presentation.
LIMITED TO ONLY 88 PIECES
The Ancora Red Dragon fountain pen was produced in a strictly limited worldwide edition of only 88 individually numbered pieces.
Each pen carries its own serial number, permanently identifying its place within the collection.
Its exceptionally restricted production and elaborate sculptural construction give the RED Dragon considerable appeal among collectors of Ancora pens, dragon-themed art and Italian writing instruments.
REFINED ROLLERBALL WRITING
Its balanced profile and smooth writing character make the RED Dragon suitable for signatures, correspondence and considered daily use while retaining the visual presence of a display-worthy collector’s piece.
HANDMADE IN ITALY
Ancora Italia has created fine writing instruments since 1919.
The RED Dragon brings together lacquer finishing, precision metalwork, sculptural detailing and traditional Italian pen construction. Every element forms part of one coherent design intended to unite artistry with practical writing performance.
