Amsterdam NY Vintage Ephemera Lot, 1908-1922, Letter, Receipts, Order to Exhume There are about 20 individual items in this lot. Several bank receipts, a hotel receipt, about 7 store receipts and a couple of personal correspondence that consisted of farmer-to-farmer conversation. Probably the most interesting items involve exhuming a body and moving it to a different part of the cemetery. There is a bi-lingual sworn affidavit signed by the Health Officer of the City of Amsterdam explaining the exhumation and reburial and a burial permit altered to allow for the exhumation and signed by the Board of Health Registrar.
