This ammonite disc is full of beautiful spiral cross sections, with a mix of brown, cream and grey and lots of fine chamber detail. I especially like what happens when light shines through it: parts of the fossils take on a lovely warm amber glow.
It makes a beautiful decorative coaster or a window display piece where you can enjoy the backlit effect. The fossil sections appear to be set in resin, making this a composite disc rather than a slice of natural rock matrix.
You will receive the exact disc pictured.
