Slightly curved, single fullered steel sword blade features crisp engraved scrollwork displaying FCB shield motif, showing minor oxidation and light surface wear near the E.A. Armstrong Chicago maker mark. Ornate cast brass hilt retains traces of gold wash, featuring a detailed lion head pommel and tight, wire wrapped shagreen grip. Matching steel scabbard shows moderate patina, fitted with heavily detailed cast gilded brass presentation mounts depicting a medieval knight and an intact canvas hanger strap. Full length 37.5 inches, blade length 30.5 inches.
