Beautiful handcrafted basket from Ghana, featuring intricate handwoven construction in natural straw with a rich purple and golden-yellow pattern. The basket has two sturdy woven handles with leather-wrapped sections.
This is a substantial basket measuring approximately 14" H × 14" W × 14" D and would make a beautiful decorative storage basket, book basket, market basket, or boho/African-inspired home décor piece.
My mother used this basket for storing books, but it could be used for blankets, magazines, toys, towels, plants (with an appropriate liner), or other household storage.
