AeroClassics 1:400 North Central Airlines Douglas DC-9-51, N761NC. Item number AC419709, released 2020.
This is a North Central “Extended Nine” in classic white-top, polished-bottom 1970's livery with the Herman tail logo. It’s one of only a handful of North Central models ever produced in 1:400.
Condition:Only opened box once to shoot these photos. From a smoke-free home. Light handling scuffs on the polished lower fuselage near the wing root, and a tiny blemish near the “NORTH” titles (see close-up photos). Gear, stabilizers, and engines are all intact. Please review all photos, since they are part of the description.
Box: Original AeroClassics box with tray and wrap. Note that the front sleeve reads “DC-9-41” because AeroClassics uses a generic DC-9 sleeve. The end label correctly reads North Central DC-9-51 N761NC / AC419709. Minor shelf wear on the box corners.
