Acca Kappa has been crafting grooming tools in Italy since 1869. Not since last decade. Not since the wet-shave revival made it fashionable. Since 1869. This brush carries that weight — literally. At 83 grams, it sits in the hand the way a well-made thing should: present, substantial, unhurried.
The handle has a striking golden color, with a triangular silhouette.
The knot itself shows the hallmarks of natural bristle — dark at the base, cream at the tip, with the gentle color irregularities that synthetics simply cannot replicate. It blooms beautifully. It holds lather. It does its job without complaint.
Note on bristles: The packaging does not specify bristle grade. Based on visual inspection — dark-to-cream banding, natural color variation, and density — the knot is consistent with natural badger hair, most likely best badger grade.
