I own a specialty advertising company, now in our 47th year in business. For much of that time as well for many years prior to establishing my own company, what was formerly \"The Bell System\" was our best account. After divestiture and it was broken up, we continued doing business with AT&T, Southern Bell, BellSouth, OFS, Lucent Technologies, Avaya, etc.
Over the years I collected a great deal of items with all of the above logos / many one-of-a-kind samples. We are now semi-retired and selling some of our collection.
Here is a nice looking fleece lined nylon jacket that we sold AT&T Florida Area in the 1990\'s - but it is in NEW condition, never worn nor displayed. Rather it has been well stored in a sealed container in one of our climate controlled sample rooms.
It was made by Pla-Jac by Dunbrooke, a wearables industry leader at the time. The material is a 100% nylon shell and 70% acetate / 30% nylon fleece lining for comfort. In is machine washable and has a luxurious feel. It was made in the U.S.A. The color is navy with the AT&T copy in white.
Features include a full open front with snap closure, and two side pockets. Both the sleeves and bottom have two-tone elastic to keep heat in and cold out. The size is a full cut medium.This was an over-run sample, and although over 30 years old, it is in as new condition. It has been kept in a smoke-free, climate controlledsituation. As mentioned, it was quality manufactured in the U.S.A., rare then, but especially so today.
With the weather turning cooler, what an excellent item, especially for someone who works or worked with AT&T.
