Each panel is meticulously wheel-carved and etched with intricate, frosted floral and scrolling intaglio designs.The glass panels are set within an ornate ormolu (gilded bronze) metal frame that stands proudly on four stylized decorative feet.
The box features its original functional hinged lid and a small front loop latch.
