Description Offered for Sale is this Amazing 19th Century Oval Bentwood 3 Finger Pantry Box with Lid. The pantry box is held together with a combination of wooden pegs and tacks. The pantry box appears to have been turned into a Trinket or Sewing Box. The box was decorated and hand painted by D.P.M. (carved in bottom). There is an overall floral design with the center piece being a Kitten in a partially incised Basket with Flowers. The front of the box in incised Clara\'s Trinkets. The lower base rim also possesses incised decoration. The interior of the box has a cushioned top and bottom. I see no additional markings on the box. This Antique Pantry Box would be a Great Addition to any Pantry Box, Firkin, Pail, Brides\' Box Collection.
