ANTIQUE 1947 HALLMARK COLLECTORS ALBUMS LAND OF MAKE BELIEVE & DOLLS OF NATIONS For Sale

Offering 2 complete 1947 collector\'s albums from Hallmark Cards...The Land of Make Believe and Dolls of the Nations. There are 16 cards in each album (a total of 32 cards) that are beautifully illustrated by Vivian \"Viv\" Trillow Smith, a prolific and versatile artist who worked at Hallmark from 1924-1970. Inside each delightful card is a poem about that particular character along with the copyright date of 1947. There are also 16 original envelopes included and some promo cards (please see attached photo). I was born in 1946 and had been collecting them for many years, so they are part of my personal collection. Overall, the colors remain bright and vivid and all the cards are in remarkable condition. The corners and edges on the 2 albums do show some wear with minor creases and tears. These are delightful and have survived for some 80 years!
