9 1/2" by 6" printed letterhead of the Louisville Mantel & Casket Company, located at the corner of Main and Wentzel Streets. Dated November 1883, sent to merchants in Macon, Georgia. William Patterson was the president of this company and his son was the vice president- father & son were better known for their involvement in Louisville's whiskey industry.The paper is slightly soiled along the edge and the fold lines. The hole in the paper was caused by a desktop spindle used by the Macon hardware store to sort business paper.
