10x8 pale blue paper dated March 10, 1860, sent to a Macon, Georgia businessman from William L King in Montgomery, Alabama who is soliciting enough regional orders to make up a cargo of iron from Naylor & Co in New York to be shipped to Savannah. Mr King\'s handwriting is very legible and quite beautiful and he has obviously received a better than average education. I especially like the genteel closing of the letter, \"I am dear sir, yours very truly, Wm L King\".
