From my late father's clock shop of over 60 years is this beautiful Beehive style clock from Forestville Clock Co. in Forestville Conn.This clock winds up and runs beautifully; and strikes on the hour. - This clock is in good original condition for its age.
- Veneer is all original and in good condition
- Painted cream metal dial shows paint chipping mostly around the edges
- Original black hands
- Original etched glass depicts "Father Time" holding a scythe with the phrase "Time cuts down all, both great and small"
- Glass does show some wearing away of the etching in some spots but still in good condition
- Original winding key, front door key and pendulum.
- I didn't take a picture of the movement because I was not comfortable taking the hands and dial off.
- The label on the inside of the clock is original and can be hard to see and read, shows some cracking and very little chipping.
- Approximate measurements - 19" high x 10.5" wide x 4" deep
