ANT/VTG P S & W Co Extra No 1 2\" Beveled Socket Chisel Wood Working For Sale

I picked this chisel up at an estate sale. Nice, Rare Old Wood Working Chisel !!! This is a Peck Stow & Wilcox made chisel. The makers marks are about 80% readable. There is enough to easily make out the stamping !!! There are a lot of scratches, dings and the rust. I don\'t see any rust that will leave any deep pitting, if any pitting at all.. You can see an old-timer put a screw in to the end of the chisel, to hold the handle in place. Just Part Of The History !!!There is still a lot of this chisel left. The handle end doesn\'t look beat on. I don\'t see any grinding marks on the steel. The end of the handle is beat up. You can see in the pictures.This chisel should clean up nice with some work.
