Original Kit Water Slide Decals – DECALS ONLY

These are NOT aftermarket decals. They came from kits I personally built and did not use.

You are purchasing DECALS ONLY — no kit, no box, no instructions.

These decals are older. Because of age, I cannot guarantee how they will perform.

Older decals may:

• Crack or shatter in water

• Have brittle or micro-cracked carrier film

• Require a protective clear coat before use

By purchasing, you understand these are being sold as-is due to age.
No returns or refunds on decals.

If you are experienced with older decals, you may already be familiar with products such as:

• Microscale “Liquid Decal Film”

• Krylon Acrylic “Crystal Clear”

• “Future” floor polish

All three methods work well, but you will need to experiment to find the coating thickness that works best. If it is too thick, the decals may not handle or adhere properly; too thin and they may fall apart in the water. Liquid Decal Film usually needs only one coat; Future may need 2–3 coats, and Krylon typically requires 4–5 medium wet coats. I highly recommend experimenting with some non-critical samples first. In this case, practice really does make perfect.

Always test before applying to your final build.

Scale Information

Most of my car and truck decals are 1/24 or 1/25 scale and airplane decals could be 1/48 or 1/72 but occasionally I may have larger or smaller ones from other kits.

These are traditional water slide decals that require water for application.

ShippingI ship my decals in a 9 x 6 envelope that cost me $1.25 each backed with cardboard.
