Vintage A. Santini Capodimonte-style clown figurine, made in Italy and accompanied by its original certificate/tag.
This large approximately 13-inch-tall sculpture depicts a colorful seated clown holding a long-handled prop, dressed in bright yellow trousers with a cream patterned shirt, red nose, black hat, and highly expressive hand-painted facial features.
The original hang tag identifies the piece as a “Modello dello Scultore A. Santini” and references traditional Italian Capodimonte style craftsmanship.
The figurine remains in very nice vintage display condition overall. There is a small chip to the hair near the hat, which is photographed closely and reflected in the price. No other significant damage or repairs were noted during inspection.
Because this is a vintage displayed collectible, light surface wear, dust, or residue may remain in detailed areas. It has been lightly cleaned but not aggressively scrubbed or restored.
