This is a very rare 7up bottle with 8 bubbles. The 8 bubbles are in the red background. The swimsuit is blank, no paint. This bottle has paper labels, both on the face and the neck, as shown.
The product label first had 8 bubbles. The management asked, "Why is this beverage called 7up, when the label has 8 bubbles?" Upper management thought about it, and in the early 1950's, started putting 7 bubbles, and 7up, printed on the bottle labels.
This is a rare quart bottle. It states, "For Hospital or home use". The graphics on both of the paper labels are good looking both on the face, and the neck label. There are no chips or cracks. It still has the original 7up crown cap.
The bottle was made by Owens-Illinois and is dated 1969.
