This is the unit crest of the 6th Psychological Operations Battalion, US Army, a gold sword with three lightning flash blades rising from an oak wreath.
The lightning flashes and oak leaves stand for spreading the message by radio and leaflet. The three blades are silver gray, white and black, for half truth, truth and untruth, colors that come from the arms of the Army Special Warfare School. The battalion motto is Veritas Vos Liberabit, the truth will set you free.
It measures 3 by 3.5 inches with a cut edge and sew-on backing.
