These are proper size and weight for a sgian dubh, designed to be stuck in top of hose, or bosom dagger to be tucked into woman's bodice.
17th Century Bosom Dagger History 'InIreland and Scotland, women would carry a bosom dagger in their bodice between their breasts to use as protection when needed. Small enough to conceal and sturdy enough to get the job done.
Blade is stainless steel, sharp on both sides with a deadly point. Beautiful black horn handle with decorative filework on tang. Leather sheath with nylon seams do dagger may be safely tucked away.
