5 Vintage Celluloid Advertising 4 Pocket Mirrors & 1 Knife Sharpener 1920s-30s For Sale

100% Authentic Lot of 5 - 2.25 \"Vintage Celluloid Advertising Pocket Novelties\"4 with Mirror backs -- 1 with knife sharpener- honing surface
These all came from my uncle\'s \"Tool & Die\" Toolbox originally from the 1920/30sduring his early years with FordinDetroit, MichiganThe handwritten numbers on 3 of them are in his writing - possibly his Employee ID # and/or Tool Crib #It is said that the mirrors were actually very useful in inspecting blind spots and undersides of dies, stamps and engine blocks. Also useful in reading alignment marks that were upside down and hard to read gauge faces or indicators buried deep inside a machine setup.
The 5 are, as follows

• Starrett Tools Disk featuring classic combination square, calipers and micrometer on the front, with heavily authentic clouding Mirrored Back with oxidation. 2.25\" round.
• Freeman Business College of Albany, Georgia, features an illustration of flowers of each month, and a very clear Mirrored Back 2.25\" round.
• Rappaport\'s Fur Shop, Chicago, Illinois, has an empty penny hole on the front and a very clear Mirrored Back. 2.75\"x1.75\" rectangle.
• Woodmen of the World Fraternal Life Insurance features the office building in Omaha, Nebraska and a speckled Mirrored Back 2.75\"x1.75\" rectangle.

• The 5th and final novelty is Tester Service Electric Co Milwaukee, WI and has their advertisement on the front and a Knife Sharpener on the back which was highly coveted at the time of these promotional gifts. It is 2.25\" round.
