This fantastic Smoky Skeletal Herkimer Diamond quartz crystal is from The Diamond Mountain Mine in Little Falls, New York!
It is a single crystal with good clarity and a dark smoky color and intricate skeletal growth on several of the faces. Minor inclusions of black hydrocarbon as well as flashy rainbows. This specimen has literally the largest chisel tip termination that I have ever seen on a Herkimer Diamond, the termination is 2.5 inches across! Some areas of host rock contact and minor damage, but very beautiful overall.
There is one repair, but it is not very noticeable and the repair is reflected in this specimen\'s reduced price. It would be almost double this price had it not been for the repair, so this is your chance to get a sweet piece for a low price!
