40`s Western Boulder Cracked Ice 9\" Fixed Blade Knife Pat 1,967, 479 w/orig case For Sale

Rare Western \"Cracked Ice\" Fixed Blade Knife w/original sheath. Measures 9 1/4\" with a 5 1/4\" carbon steel blade. Tang is stamped, Western Boulder Colo. Pat. No. 1,967,479. There is no model number, but I`m sure its a 58 style blade. The knife is tight, near razor sharp with a pointy tip. The blade has a few pits on the front side and some light scratches, on the other. The entire hilt is very good. Very liitle wear on the scales. The acrylic spacers, between the scales, and the tang that often go bad, are are still quite fine. Just a couple very minor scratches on the edge of the pommel. Comes with the original embossed sheath, that is in amazingcondition, especially considering its over 3/4 of a century old.
