Hazel Atlas ribbed nursery rhyme jar features Simple Simon red jar. Rhyme says:
Simple Simon Met A Pieman,Going To The Fair;Says Simple Simon To The Pieman\"Let Me Taste Your Ware\"
Per my Drinking Glasses guidebook: These were from the 1940s and were originally food container jars. These jars came with tin lids and were distributed by a dairy in Wisconsin. Lid is not included.
Jar measures approximately 4\" tall with a top diameter of 2.75\" and a bottom diameter of 2.25\".It is in excellent bright clean condition with vibrant red color. No cracks, chips or breaks.
