Here is a 371g Skeletal Gwindel Quartz lot of 18 stones. This material has a lovely prismatic luster. These stones evidence very strange twisting formations that are called \"Gwindels\". They are often flat and tabular and they twist in odd ways as they form so the terminations are angled in strange ways compared to ordinary quartz formation. This material once had lots of enhydros in them when they were in the earth but the pockets ruptured and left cavities. Then sand particles accumulated inside the crystals and so they have \"skeletal\" aspects within the internal structure. These are very interesting specimens evidencing alot of detail.
