The Oneida Noblesse pattern is a highly celebrated, discontinued line of high-quality silver-plated flatware and hollowware introduced by the Oneida Community in 1930. It is widely recognized by collectors as a quintessential example of Art Deco design applied to American tableware.

More Info:

· 20th-century silverware, Noblesse features clean, architectural lines. It is distinctively geometric, characterized by a striking diamond motif engraved at the base of the handle.

· Energy and Modernity: Alongside its sister pattern, Deauville (1929), Noblesse was designed to convey energy, sleek modernity, and a forward-looking aesthetic during the onset of the Great Depression.

·

· The Brand: Produced under Oneida\'s premium \"Community Plate\" hallmark grade, this silverware was manufactured using a heavy layering of silver over a base metal, ensuring excellent durability.

· Era of Transformation: The pattern was introduced right before the company rebranded from Oneida Community Limited to Oneida Ltd. in 1935. The commercial success of these distinct Art Deco styles helped sustain the company\'s premium tableware division during economic hardships.
