This gorgeous Smoky Skeletal Herkimer Diamond quartz crystal is from The Diamond Mountain Mine in Little Falls, New York!
It consists of a 2.5 inch skeletal crystal with gorgeous calcite and dolostone matrix attached. There are intricate skeletal growth features on most of its faces and a light ring of smoky coloration around the edges of the crystals. Beautiful internal rainbows. There are a few key marks and areas of host rock contact including on the terminations, but this is an excellent specimen overall.
100% natural. Mined by hand in the Summer of 2022.
