21st Cavalry Brigade Air Combat AH-64 Apache Fort Hood Army Challenge Coin
Large, distinctive presentation challenge coin from the 21st Cavalry Brigade (Air Combat), formerly based at Fort Hood, Texas. The brigade was the U.S. Army’s specialized combat aviation training organization responsible for collective training and fielding of AH-64 Apache/Longbow and OH-58D Kiowa Warrior aviation units before its 2015 inactivation.
The antique-brass side features the brigade’s dramatic eagle and shield design with “21st Cavalry Brigade,” “Air Combat,” and its motto “Continue the Attack.” The full-color reverse features an AH-64 Apache attack helicopterover the American flag with “Presented by the Brigade Command Team for Excellence,” flanked by officer and Command Sergeant Major rank imagery. The unusual sculpted shape and command-team presentation format make this considerably more collectible than a generic unit souvenir coin.
Pre-owned condition with light handling and display wear. Enamel remains bright with strong raised detail and an attractive antique finish. Blank presentation panel remains unengraved. Please review all photos for exact condition.
