Created for the 2011 Centennial / 100 Years of Naval Aviation, the piece features the Blue Angels crest and the names and signatures of eight members of the 2011 team, including CDR Dave Koss, Maj Brent Stevens, LCDR Jim Tomaszeski, LT Rob Kurrle, LT Ben Walborn, LT C.J. Simonsen, LT Dave Tickle and LT Todd Royles. Those names correspond with the documented 2011 Blue Angels roster.
