Original 2002 Peanuts "Good Ol' Charlie Brown" Sally Brown in Her Elementary School Classroom Deluxe Playset, produced by Playing Mantis under its collectible Memory Lane toy line. This factory-sealed example features the distinctive FROWNING Sally Brown facial-expression variant, with Sally wearing her pale yellow polka-dot dress, matching hair bow, and white shoes. The detailed classroom setting recreates the familiar elementary school from Charles M. Schulz's beloved Peanuts comic strip and animated specials, complete with blue classroom walls, windows overlooking the school grounds, a clock, bulletin board, globe, chalkboard, student desks, and the teacher's desk with its interactive red apple. The original illustrated display packaging features classic Peanuts comic artwork and the "Good Ol' Charlie Brown" branding.

One of the most appealing features of this deluxe playset is its electronic sound effect, activated by pressing the apple on the teacher's desk. The button produces the familiar muffled "teacher talking" sound associated with the classic Peanuts animated specials. Remarkably, the "TRY ME"ORIGINAL ELECTRONIC SOUND FEATURE IS STILL WORKING more than two decades after production, without opening the factory-taped packaging. The sound has been tested using the exterior "Try Me" button, and an actual video demonstration is included with this listing. The classroom also features a hinged wall designed to fold outward for an expanded play area, student desks that open for storing miniature schoolwork, and detailed classroom scenery with bookshelves, maps, and bulletin boards. The frowning Sally facial expression is a documented variation within the collectible Memory Lane Peanuts series, making this an interesting example for collectors who appreciate character and expression differences.

New in the original factory-taped retail box, with the original tape still intact and the contents retained in their original molded display packaging. The playset has not been removed or opened for testing, preserving its original packaged condition. The Sally Brown figure and classroom furnishings display beautifully, with attractive original colors and detailing. The cardboard box is in very good vintage condition with expected age-related shelf and storage wear, including light edge and corner wear, minor surface scuffing, and some wear to the clear plastic display window. The original box graphics remain colorful and attractive. The functioning electronic sound feature is especially noteworthy for a collectible produced in 2002. Please review all photographs and the included video demonstration for condition and operational details. The photographs show the exact factory-taped playset you will receive.
