The blades have never been used, carried, or sharpened, completely retaining their original factory edges and finishes. True to its age, both the large 16-5 SS hunter and the smaller M3 Finn SS feature the highly collectible 2001 tang stamp, sporting 5 X's and 4 dots surrounding the classic Case XX logo. The polished, stacked-leather washer handles show gorgeous deep coloration with crisp spacers and bright aluminum pommels.
To ensure maximum long-term preservation, these knives are being stored safely outside of their leather sheath to prevent any moisture capture, pitting, or tarnishing, though the initial owner stored the knives inside the sheath and box causing minor storage wear. Even still, the genuine leather dual-knife belt sheath features beautiful basketweave embossing and remains entirely supple with strong, unblemished snaps. This listing is completely transparent and includes everything shown in the photos: both mint knives, the original dual sheath, and the factory-labeled green Case box stamped with the official production date of August 9, 2001 (08/09/01).
