The handle is masterfully carved into the form of the "Aso"—the legendary dragon-dog guardian deity—decorated with hand-incised spirals to protect the contents of the vessel. The leaf-shaped scoop features a pouring spout and is flanked by double open-loop handles. The upper rim is protected by its original, hand-woven split rattan herringbone braid, which remains in a remarkable state of historic preservation. Notably, the interior back wall retains a weathered, undecipherable hand-carved tribal inscription or ritual marking, adding incredible historical character and appeal.
