This is an unusual and highly collectible Pepsi retail point-of-sale display promoting a chance to win a trip to the '99 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The main display features large Pepsi branding, a Pepsi can graphic, an image of Major League Baseball players on the field, and the Boston All-Star Game '99 logo.
The display is specifically identified by the original printed instructions as a "PEPSI 'BUILD IT' END AISLE DISPLAY" and includes the components needed to assemble the promotional display. The instructions are marked CDB-98, and the display includes the original poles, metal support pieces, cardboard components, and related promotional pieces visible in the photos. The promotional artwork also advertises a FREE BASEBALL PRACTICE KIT, making this more than just a flat Pepsi sign. It was designed as a complete retail promotional installation.
