This 1995 "Order of the Ditch" certificate is a unique piece of militaria collectible from the USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60).
The certificate, signed by Commanding Officer, John J. Hammerer, Jr., and awarded to sailor, OS2 Darrell E. Lafrenz, celebrates the successful transit of the US Navy ship through the Panama Canal on August 11, 1995.
The certificate measures approximately 21inches wide by 15 1/4 inches tall. The sides were folded over to accommodate to fit in a 20-inch-wide frame.
The certificate will be mailed flat.
